Steven Allen
BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Steven Allen discovered his passion for performing at the age of five, when he began pursuing theater. Over the years, he exhibited his versatility through a variety of roles. In addition to his skills as an actor, he harbored a penchant for singing and flexed his talents in a variety of musicals.
Intrigued by the talent of many musical artists, from J. S. Bach to John Legend, he decided to join his school choir in eighth grade. He continued to sing in choirs throughout his high school career. In ninth grade, he became invested in playing the piano, and upon discovering his passion for playing, he began taking classical lessons. Two years later, he added the guitar to his growing selection of talents and started to write his own songs.
After three years at The University of Pennsylvania, Steven Allen completed his undergraduate education by graduating with the Class of 2011. He majored in Cinema Studies and minored in both Music and English. Now he is pursuing his music and filmmaking career. As a filmmaker, he created CastlePrillen Productions in his sophomore year to soothe his acting bug, with shows like Spruce Street and Charlie Time airing on YouTube. He created T00 Much TV and other shows a year later. As a singer-songwriter, he is making a name for himself with his acoustic guitar, piano, and introspective songs.
Steven Allen’s story is just beginning. “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” Life is the longest TV show!
